AddressGrabber Suite is a new data entry paradigm ideal for professionals who use ACT!™ to interact with customers. This unique tool can process and convert text in plain English into significant information in ACT!™.

This software eliminates the need to manually browse between different fields to enter contacts and appointments.

All you have to do is, enter the required information in plain English in the Smart Box. Click the relevant Action Button so that AddressGrabber Suite understands the text and transfers it as contacts, schedules, notes or history into ACT! instantly.
Smart Box is a text area available in AddressGrabber Suite toolbar.

You can type plain text in the Smart Box and update the looked up contact with this text. The text is automatically transferred into appropriate fields in the looked up contact. You can transfer the text as activity, notes or history by using the Action Buttons.

You can also use the Process button to transfer the entire text in the Smart Box into appropriate fields and to schedule activities, calls, meetings etc. with a single click.
The Action Buttons enable you to perform various functions with the contact information.

You can add or update a contact, add activities, notes or history by using the Action Buttons. You can add or remove these Buttons in the AddressGrabber Suite toolbar.

Using AddressGrabber Suite, you can

  • View the current time and time zone of the contact available in different locations.
  • Save temporary information in the electronic notepad available in the software.
  • Keep track of time spent with a contact during a call or meeting.

Download the installation file from https://www.egrabber.com/addressgrabbersuite/trial.html. The InstallShield Wizard guides you through rest of the process.
The trial version is fully functional but can be used only for specific period.

After successful installation, you can evaluate the product for three days or 50 transfers, whichever occurs earlier.
Once your trial version expires, you cannot download it again. However, you can contact our customer support and extend the trial version period for another 10 days.

  • Check whether you have entered the License Key properly. You can copy and paste the License Key to avoid typing errors.
  • Ensure that you are connected to Internet at the time of registering the product.
  • The other problems are, your Internet connection may be slow, or the server may be busy. In these circumstances, check the Internet connection and try registering after some time.

If you want to use the product in multiple systems, you need to purchase multiple licenses. Contact our customer support to get multiple licenses. If you want to use the product in another system with the same license key, follow the steps:

  • Unregister the product in System A.
  • Install and register in System B.
You have to follow the steps provided in the previous answer. Unregister, upgrade your system, again install, and register the product.
In such exceptional cases, you can contact our customer support to obtain a new license key. Your earlier license key is revoked and using this key in future violates the terms of License Agreement.

** We recommend you to have a Backup of the software in a CD or in another system to avoid such discrepancies.
AddressGrabber™ cannot be run through network. It must be installed on the local hard disk. However, using AddressGrabber™ you can transfer addresses to applications that are available on network.

The smart box is visible only in the Standard mode. Check whether your AddressGrabber Suite Toolbar is in compact mode. Click the Maximize button to view the Toolbar in Standard Mode.
You can use the Format Options and set the output to be in specific format. You can format the phone numbers, fax, email, and other contact details by using this option. Refer to AddressGrabber Suite Help for more details.
In the AddressGrabber Suite Confirmation Window, check whether the option "Use Format Options" is selected. If it is selected and still the changes are not reflected, then clear this check box and again select it to refresh the data.
Click Parse Again in Address Confirmation Window. AddressGrabber Suite again captures the contact details with the original format settings.

To get the Address Confirmation Window,

  • In the AddressGrabber Suite Toolbar, click Show Preview under the Go button.

  • In the AddressGrabber Suite Toolbar, click Options > Settings and select Miscellaneous. Select the "Confirm extraction results before sending" checkbox.
When you click "Verify Address", the address is compared with the USPS website. So, you need to be connected to Internet while using this option. Check your Internet connection and try again.
You can set only one record as "My Contact" at a time. You can change the record that has been set as "My Contact" in the Miscellaneous Settings window. Refer to AddressGrabber Suite Help for more details.
Right click on a record under the Buddy list and click Delete to remove the record from the favorites list.
Yes. While scheduling the activity, enter the time along with the time zone (For example, 11:00 AM EST). This time is converted to the time zone you have setup in your system. The activity is scheduled at your time zone in ACT! and the original time zone is saved in the Notes tab for your reference.
You need to have logged into ACT! with administrator rights to add or update the contacts. Check whether you have the administrator rights for the corresponding user name in ACT! database.
