1) “Mass Edit” Multiple Contact Records
 
 
Say, you have thirty contacts from one company in your ACT! database and the company changes its location. Instead of changing the contact details in each contact record one by one, you can edit them in one go.

To do that, follow the steps given below:

1. Create your lookup.
2. Edit on the menu bar.
3. From the dropdown menu, choose Replace.
4. A blank contact record shows up. Key in new data into as many fields as you want.
5. Replace on the menu bar.
6. From the dropdown menu, choose Apply.
7. ACT! prompts you to make sure you want the change to be reflected in all contact records.
8. Yes.

All the ACT! contact records will be edited with the new contact information.
