1) Customize Salutation in Letter or Memo		  
 
How can I use ACT! to add salutation or suffix to a contact name, when creating documents using mail merge?

Usually ACT! includes only the contact’s name when creating a letter or memo. You can use ACT! to add salutation to the contact name by following the simple steps given below:

1. From Tools menu, select Preferences.
2. Use Salutation Preferences button.
3. A list of options will be listed in Salutation Preferences dialog box. Select an option.
4. Press OK button to save and close.
