1) Edit multiple contact records in a single go

I want to change the ID/Status of many contacts in my ACT! from ‘Prospects’ to ‘Customers’. How can I do this?

Rather than manually changing the ID/Status field for each contact, here’s how you can easily edit the data for a number of contacts in ACT!.

First, create a lookup.
1. Click 'Edit' menu and select 'Replace Field'.
2. In 'Replace Data' dialog box, select the field that should be changed. Then, type or select the value with which it should be replaced.
3. Click 'OK'.

Y
ou can now change all your contacts’ ID/Status to ‘Customers’ in a jiffy!

2) Automate processing emails from Web Forms

I receive about 50 leads everyday as e-mails from forms submitted in my web site and from third party sites as well. I take at least 30-45 minutes to download them and manually enter into my ACT!. Is there a simple way to automate this time-consuming task?

Yes! Web Response Grabber is your one-stop solution to Lead eMail Processing.

You can automatically download your Lead eMails and process them into your ACT! whenever your prospects fill up the form in your web site. You can also instantly assign follow-up to the incoming leads.

Web Response Grabber also works with MS Excel. Download your 10-day trial copy of Web Response Grabber today!

  3) Think outside the box

If you want to increase your revenue and be more profitable you should learn to think ouside the box. Challenge assumptions and leave your comfort zone to take your sales to the next level.

To be innovative, you have to believe in yourself and your ability to succeed. Ask a lot of “what if” questions. Be open minded to do things differently. Support and encourage when others come up with new ideas. Focus on being innovative and see how your sales grow!

  4) Make your Ad Memorable

Your ad should grab and hold your prospects’ attention. Successful ads should have a strong visual focal point and should be created using colors that enhance memorability.

The headline of an ad should contain a benefit. Make your ad personal and write it in first person. Keep the sentences in the ad short and get your prospects involved by asking questions. Challenge your audience and remember to make a guarantee at the end of your ad.
