Run
your ad messages through the ‘So what?’ test |
|
| |
An effective marketing message will have a clear and specific answer
to “So what?” and “What’s in it for me?”
questions. Your marketing material may all be about company history
and how qualified you are. But if it fails the “So what?”
test, it needs to be revamped.
Read all your marketing messages aloud. See if they are all foccused
on your target audience. Does it have a specific reason why they should
ever care about your solution? Ensure that the message is clear and
has a specific and powerful answer to the “So what?” question.

Delegate
and Grow |
|
| |
No matter at what stage your business is in, learning to delegate can
boost your productivity and increase your revenue. Being the ‘Jack
of all trades’ and continually working long hours will leave you
tired and inept. Take an inventory of your daily task, choose the tasks
that do not align with your strengths and delegate them.
Choosing the right person who can handle the tasks you are delegating
is the cornerstone for successful delegation. Use your judgement and
identify the right person who can perform that duty, you are passing
on, better that you can. When delegating, make sure you set well-defined
and specific goals so that the person who is taking over the task is
effective and productive.
