1) Checking your ACT! for duplicates		  
 
ACT!’s internal duplicate scanning mechanism checks for duplicate records base on company, contact and phone. Did you know that you can also check for duplicates based on other criteria?

To do this,
1. Choose Edit from the main menu bar.
2. From the drop down menu, choose Define Fields.
3. Advanced tab.
4. Choose intended criteria from respective drop down boxes.
5. OK.
