  3) Answer your Phone Differently

Try announcing a special offer when you answer the phone next time. For instance, say something like "Good morning. This is Peter with Hurry Up. Ask me about the special offer we have got just for you".

The caller will be compelled to ask about the offer. Make sure your offer is aggressive and heighten the caller's urgency by including an expiry date.

  4) Conduct Open Houses / Seminars Regularly

Hosting an event or seminar is a great way to come face-to-face with key customers and prospects. You will not only circulate your company name but will also be rewarded with media coverage and a nice turnout.

If you are conducting a seminar, limit the attendance and charge a nominal fee. A fee gives the impression that the seminar is valuable. Free, on the other hand, connotes that the participants will have to endure a sales pitch.
