ResumeGrabber does more than creating an Outlook contact in one click:

• Checks for duplicates and updates if contact exists.
• Fills ID Status with user defined string, for easy grouping of resumes.
• Enters keywords from resume into Outlook User defined fields for future lookup.
• Saves resume in user specified folder in PC.
• Attaches resume to the contact - for future follow up and forwarding to others.
• Copies contents of resume into Notes to enable searching for identifying candidate skills.
• Creates series of user-defined Activities in Outlook - This enables automated and professional follow-up with candidates.

Where ResumeGrabber can be used?

ResumeGrabber can be used to capture and enter resumes into Outlook
from - all web based Job-Portals, MS Outlook and other email applications, email attachments, MS Word documents, resumes posted on web-sites, resumes stored in PC hard disk and any text file.

Resumes don't have to be in any particular format. ResumeGrabber handles resumes in any style, format or pattern.

How ResumeGrabber works?

Recruiter just selects the candidate contact information in the resume and a click on the GO icon in the ResumeGrabber tool bar makes the product do the rest.

ResumeGrabber intelligently extracts The Name, Street, City, State, Zip, Phone, E-mail from the resume and Creates a new contact in your Outlook. You can also attach the resume to the Contact.

Screen enables recruiter to check off follow-up activities - ResumeGrabber programs them automatically.

Keyword setup window allows user to define skills to extract and enter into user-defined fields.

Since ResumeGrabber makes it easy to enter resumes into a database, we found that many companies take advantage of this to build a database of all job applicants. This enables them to search their database in the future if they are looking for people with similar skills.

Third party recruiters are using ResumeGrabber to build candidate database with specialized skills for future reference and placement. Due to the soft job market there are ten times more candidates on the web with various specialized skills. These same candidates will be hard to get (passive candidates), once the job market turns around. ResumeGrabber can be configured to store all resumes into a centralized network drive automatically and to have the resume attached to the contact in Outlook, ACT!, GoldMine.

Management can now require all recruiters to use ResumeGrabber to enter resumes, since it does not take any more effort for the recruiter to store the resume on the network than it would if they saved it on their hard disk.

The resulting centralized resume bank can now be shared by all recruiters and hiring managers within a company. It can check for duplicates and eliminate them regardless of which recruiter is entering them.

Creating a centralized resume bank allows the company to keep close tabs on all resumes and makes it easy to back up all resumes at once.
