When I come across a product or service that is truly an exceptional
value I like to share it with everyone. eGrabbers ResumeGrabber

Companies that do not have the luxury of an Applicant Tracking
System can accomplish many of the same functions within a contact
management system like Outlook®, Act!, and Goldmine but utilizing

of the more frustrating and time consuming tasks recruiters without
full blown ATS systems face. Their inboxes quickly become filled

co-workers. Entering them into a contact management database takes
hours of valuable sourcing and recruiting time.
ResumeGrabber Standard and Web Response Grabber solve this seemingly never-ending
problem. With just a few clicks of your mouse you can import resumes
into your contact management system from e-mail, Word documents
(or any text document), or an applicant form on your website. Their
newest feature enters resumes you find in job board resume
databases directly into your contact manager making the investment

attached to the contact record and also copied into a notes page

including ACT!, Goldmine, and Outlook®. The system even

name, client name, comments etc.. that can be automatically populated
with each record created.
Web Response Grabber (www.egrabber.com/webresponsegrabber)
is a unique solution to entering data from applicant forms on your
website directly into a contact management database. Now you can
create a custom form on your website for candidates to fill in to
submit their credentials. By mapping your web form fields to your
contact management system, all candidates and their resumes are
automatically entered into the database directly from your website.
You can program it to send an e-mail acknowledgement to the candidate
and an alert to the recruiter to notify them of the
new entry. The tool also has some additional unique customization
options.
The best part about eGrabber is that their products provide significant
functionality at a very reasonable price. ResumeGrabber Standard starts at
$249 for one user with discounts for each additional user. Web Response
Grabber starts at $299. These costs can be recouped easily through
the timesaving and the resulting ability to place candidates faster.
Ive long been a fan of eGrabber products to assist us with
our sales efforts but this focus on recruitment solutions motivated
me review them in the Tip of the Week. My apologies if this review
sounds like a sales pitch but it is not that often that I find cost
effective, innovative, and easy to use recruitment solutions. Go
