1. I am not able to select any other folders other than the default contact folder. Why so?

Transferring contacts to Microsoft Outlook requires the contacts' folder (either the Default contact folder or the user created contacts' folder) to be selected by default to which the contacts are to be transferred.

2. Why does the type and size of the font changes when transferring contacts to Microsoft Outlook

The contacts transferred by Resume Grabber in Microsoft Outlook will take the size nd the type of the font set in Outlook

3. How does the Resume Grabber switch its destination from one Application to another. For eg: From ACT! to Outlook?

Go to the Resume Grabber Tool Bar. Click on-> Menu >> Quick SetUp Wizard... >>. In the Quick SetUp Wizard click on the Next button. In the "Select Destination" page choose the destination to which you want your contacts to get transferred to and Finish the Quick Setup Wizard.

4. I select the resume to be transferred and click Go on the Resume Grabber Toolbar. The Parse Confirmation window comes up. On clicking on transfer the resume does not get transferred to Outlook. Why so?

In your Outlook Application, Click on Help >> Detect and Repair. Click on the Start button. After the completion of this process, try tranferring your resume. If the problem still persists, then send the log files to us

ACT!

1. My contact does not get transferred into the ACT! application

a. Reindex your database

1. Make sure your database is locked. From the File menu, point to Administration, and then click Database Maintenance.

2. In the Periodic Maintenance tab of the Database Maintenance dialog box, select Compress Database.

3. If you want to display a reminder to perform database maintenance, select Remind Me Again, and then select the number of days between reminders.

4. Click Reindex.

b. Create a new database and try transferring the contacts to the database."

2. Can I sync my ACT! database and make transfers at the same time?

The ACT! application will not allow you to do both of these tasks at a time.

3. I am not able to transfer to ACT! database

Try Reindexing your database

>> Make sure your database is locked. From the File menu, point to Administration,

GoldMine

1. I do not see the newly created field labels in Goldmine in the Destination Setup. Why so?

You need to do a refresh database after creating new fields in GoldMine. Otherwise Fields will not be listed in the drop down list in the destination setup.

(Goto Link options => Log into database again to refresh).

2. On logging into the Goldmine database why do I get the following error message "Cannot load License file".

Can you please ensure the following in your GoldMine Database.

1. Close ResumeGrabber if it is running.
2. Launch GoldMine
3. Edit -> Preferences -> Login tab.
4. Ensure that the check box "Open Files Exclusively" is not checked.

3. On logging into the Goldmine database why do I get
the following error message -> "User does not have required access right. Login with another UserName."

Can you please ensure the following in your GoldMine Database.

1. Launch Goldmine
2. File -> Configure -> User Settings
3. Select the User Name with which you have logged into Resume Grabber.
4. Click on "Properties".
5. Click the "Access" tab and check the "Add New" option.

4.On logging into the Goldmine database why do I get
the following error message -> "Login successful. This user does not have right to attach processes."

Can you please ensure the following in your GoldMine Database.

1. Launch Goldmine
2. File -> Configure -> User Settings
3. Select the User Name with which you have logged into Resume Grabber.
4. Click on "Properties".
5. Click the "Access" tab and check the "Schedule Processes"option.

e Registration

1. Invalid License Key Reason:

1. Check the License Key.

Did you enter:

B' instead of 'P'
P' instead of 'B'
'1' (one) instead of 'I'
'I' instead of '1' (one)
'O' instead of '0 (zero)
'0' (zero) instead of 'O'
'2' (two) instead of 'Z'
'Z' instead of '2' (two)
'A' instead of number '4''(four)
'4'(four) instead of 'A'
'8'(eight) instead of 'B'
'B' instead of '8' (eight)

2. Check the Internet connection.

3. Check if you are logged on as a 'Restricted User' in Windows.

4. Version mismatch: Check if you are trying to use the key for a different version of the product.


Solution:

1. Copy and Paste the License Key in eGrabber Registration dialog box. Do not retype. This will avoid typo errors.

2. Make sure you are connected to the Internet before you register the license key.

3. Login as Administrator and then try to register the product. Our Software will not get registered if you try from the 'Restricted User' Mode.

4. Please check the version number of your product. Click Menu on toolbar and select 'About'. Find out the product version number. Check if the version number matches the one on the e-mail you received from eGrabber with the license key.

2. License already used in another machine.

You want to use the same key in multiple computers (Home and Work).
You have upgraded to a new PC.
You want to install the Product in another system.

Solution

To use the same key in another computer, you need to Un-register the key from the computer where you have first Registered and then use the same key to Register on the second computer.

Steps to Un-register from System A :

1. Select Menu from the Toolbar and Click 'Unregister'. This displays the 'Registration' dialog box.
2. Copy the License Key for your reference and click on the 'Unregister' button.

Steps to Register in System B:

Install the program on another computer. Now you can register the product in another system using the same key.


1. Click 'Menu' Button on toolbar and select 'Register'. eGrabber Registration dialog box comes up.
2. Copy the key from the saved text file and paste it in Registration dialog box. Click on the 'Register' button.

Note: At a given point of time, you can use the License key only on one computer. The above solution did not help you then email isupport@egrabber.com.

3. Already registered using the Free Trial License Key

Solution:


Purchase a License Key from eGrabber to use the product beyond the Trial period. Contact eGrabber Customer Care by e-mail (support@egrabber.com) or call (408) 872 3100.

1. What are the minimum requirements required to install Resume Grabber Standard

To install ResumeGrabber Standard following are the minimum requirements.

1. Internet Explorer Version 5.5 or later.
2. 50 MB free hard disk space to install and run the program.
3. Windows XP/2000.

2. Does ResumeGrabber work with Windows Me

Due to certain techncial reasons, we don't support ResumeGrabber on Windows Me


3. I get the followinf error message: "No PRD links found, aborting application"

ResumeGrabber Standard transfers the resumes from Word, Text Documents, Email bodies, File Folders, Job boards, HTML documents, etc. in to any of the following contact managers.

ACT! 2007 / 2006 / 2005 / 2000 / 6.0, GoldMine 5.5 / 5.7 / 6.0 / 6.6 / 6.7 & OutLook 2000/2002/2003.

If you are not having any of the above contact managers then you will get the following error message. If you want to use ResumeGrabber Standard, you should have any one of the above mentioned contact managers.

4. I am not able to download the trial version of ResumeGrabber

Check for the Security Settings in your Browser's, if any setting for any downloads are disabled. If so, then enable it till the download is over. Finally revert back to the original settings, if you wish to.
