In my Web Response Grabber I see 25 email messages in Inbox and a Sample Template under Web Response Grabber SLX folder to the left! What is its purpose?

The Sample template has been designed to extract data from the Sample email messages with the subject "WRG Test". The Sample email responses and the Sample template is provided to let you have a quick glance of the product. You can start using the Sample email responses and the Sample template to transfer the web forms to the SalesLogix database. Refer Quick Start Guide for more information.

How do I download a sample email in my Inbox?

Go to http://www.egrabber.com/wrgtest.htm and fill up the sample form. Enter your email address in the form and click Submit. When you check for new mail, the email response from the web form is downloaded in your Inbox in Web Response Grabber.

The error message "Cannot connect" is displayed in the Status Report when I check for new mail? What should I do?

Check the server settings entered in Personality Settings dialog for POP3/IMAP. When you enter the host name in the Personality Settings dialog for POP3 or IMAP, and if you have a dialup connection then you can give either the server IP address or the host name in the Incoming Server/Host Name/Outgoing Server box. If you use a proxy server then enter the proxy server settings. Example: A Host Name can be esales.com or IP address is 192.168.23.2.

How do I send mail?

SMTP is used to send mail. You need to enter SMTP server address details the POP3 / IMAP Personality Settings.
Note: If your SMTP server requires authentication use More Settings option to select appropriate settings.

What should I do when I do not have POP3 mail server?

In case you don't have a POP3 account, then you can use IMAP OR Scan Outlook Mailbox OR to get email into Web Response Grabber.

How do I configure to MS Exchange server in Web Response Grabber?

If you choose to download email from MS Exchange server then you can choose any of the following options:

. Configure POP3 Personality
. Configure IMAP Personality
. If you have already configured to MS Exchange through Outlook then create a Scan Outlook Mailbox personality and import new email into Web Response Grabber

How do I print an email?

Select the email in the list view and click Print button or select print from file menu. You can also print the email by selecting Print from the right click option in the email preview pane.

I want to send auto responses to the leads who have submitted the form. When I use stationary all the mails are being sent to one single email address?

When you use stationary to send auto responses for incoming email, they are sent to the 'from address' of the incoming email. In this case all the email coming from the web form seems to be having the same 'from email address'. For this you need to use Mail Merge Template to send auto responses. The mail merge template will extract data in the email, create an email merge auto response and send it.

Why are the email sent using email merge template not shown in the Web Response Grabber Outbox?

At present email generated by email merge template are not stored in Outbox. In the next version they will be available for viewing in the Outbox.

What is the difference between Stationery and an Email Merge template when they both send auto responders?

Stationery can be used to send a default standard email response to all the email; whereas Email Merge template can send personalized email responses using the values in the email or set in the template.

I do not remember the email account settings, can Web Response Grabber import settings from my existing email software?

Yes, Web Response Grabber can import email settings from your existing email software (Microsoft Outlook, OutlookExpress, Eudora) and create an email personality in Web Response Grabber. Just use Import Mail Account wizard while creating email account. You will need to provide only the password while using the wizard.

Should I keep my SalesLogix database open when I transfer web-form-email?

It is not necessary to keep your SalesLogix database open during transfer. You can transfer web-form-email to SalesLogix without keeping database open. But if you have set Web Response Grabber to attach Process/run Scripts for the contact created/updated, you will need SalesLogix to be open to run these processes and scripts.
