Reeve & Associates uses ACT! 2008 for maintaining more than 55,000 candidate details and job inquiries. Regularly importing contacts from different sources, name changes, repeated job inquiries by same people with minor changes in their contact details led to duplicate records in their database.
With multiple departments accessing the database, the follow-up information in notes and history scattered across duplicate records putting data integrity at stake. Inaccurate data, crucial information spread among duplicate records led to wrong decision-making.
