Getting Started with Hiring Prospector from eGrabber
Welcome to Hiring Prospector, let’s quickly build the target prospect for you.
In this example, we assume ourselves as a staffing firm, which is trying to find new Clients. We specialize in placing Project Managers in California.
We will now build a list of executives and managers who could potentially hire Project Managers, using this 4 step process:
- Search for Companies which are Hiring project managers now
- Specify the profile of your target executives and managers (using LinkedIn Filters)
- Run the Hiring Companies process (this builds the list of executives and managers)
- Append Email addresses (for your target executives and managers)

Step 1: Search for Companies which are Hiring project managers now
Inside your LeadGrabber browser, go to indeed.com and search for Project Managers in CA.
Capture the List of Companies from the Job boards. Choose “Extract companies in company-profile” in the drop down next to the Grab button.
Click Grab. This builds the list of companies which are hiring right now. 
Step 2: Specify the profile of your target executives and managers (using LinkedIn Filters)
Log into your Sales Navigator or LinkedIn Recruiter inside the LeadGrabber browser. Enter relevant Keywords, Location, title, etc to find the executives / managers you want and click search.
In this example, I am looking for CEOs, VPs and Senior Managers. So I type those into the title filter and click Search.
Don’t worry about typing in the company name at this time. The product will substitute the company name automatically.
This step is very important. You need to Save The Search. Click the button in the toolbar above the browser.
A dialog box is opened; provide a Title for your saved search and click save. I’m naming it, “United States, CEO, VP, Senior Manager“.
Step 3: Run the Hiring Companies process (this builds the list of executives and managers)
Click the Hiring Prospector Button, and in the sub-menu, choose the Search you just saved. Hiring Prospector ->Append Matching Prospects in companies-> United States, CEO, VP, Senior Manager
The LeadGrabber pro will capture all matching profiles for each of the companies that were grabbed from Indeed.
Step 4: Append Email addresses (for your target executives and managers)
Now you have a targeted list of prospects.
The next step is to contact them, right?
Check-mark the contacts that don’t have email address and click Append E-mail button on the LeadGrabber Pro Grid toolbar.

What’s next?
With a click of a button, you can transfer the list of contacts to an Excel sheet or Outlook, PC Recruiter or Salesforce.com.
Check-mark the records on the grid and click Transfer on the LeadGrabber Pro Grid toolbar. Or, select the Copy button for a fast data dump.
