Transfer addresses
Does AddressGrabber Standard check
for duplicates, if the record was already
transferred earlier?
Yes, AddressGrabber Standard checks
for duplicates. Right now this feature is
available only for ACT!, GoldMine®,
Outlook and Palm applications. If the option
is selected, it will find the existing record
and update it.

When I do a transfer, the record does
not get transferred. Why?
If this happens, check for the following:
- Check whether proper link has been made
between the Source and Destination applications
if you are transferring an address using
tray icon.
- Check if the Address Book section of
the Source application is open and active.
- Check whether a record is selected in
the Source application. Any other windows
for example the Printer selection window,
should not be open.
- Check if the Destination application
has an address book.

Sometimes during a transferring from
a e-mail message I get the following message
"Please highlight the address and then
do a transfer"
If this happens, check for the following:
- Check if the address you want to transfer
is highlighted.
- Check if the window in which you have
selected the address is in forefront and
active.

Sometimes when I click on the destination
icon on the toolbar, I get the following
message, "The application which you
selected as a source for this transfer,
is currently not running. Launch the application
and try again."
When your destination address book / PIM
is not open, AddressGrabber gives
you this message. AddressGrabber automatically
launches the address book / PIM after giving
you this message. Now you need to click
on the toolbar again to transfer.

While selecting the address for transfer,
I also selected the note at the bottom,
but the note did not get transferred. Why?
With AddressGrabber Standard you
can transfer only address fields. It does
not support transfer of notes or any other
fields. Some of our other applications do
offer this functionality.

What happens when there are more than
one address book sections in my destination
application? To which address book section
will the address be transferred?
The record will be transferred to the selected
Address Book section. If no Address Book
section is selected then the record will
be transferred to the first address book
section in the application.

Is it possible to customize the field
information that the program (AddressGrabber)
