How to update old and out-of-date CRM leads using eGrabber TouchPoint

Do you have old leads in your pipeline? Perhaps more than a year old?

Chances are, at least a quarter of them have changed jobs.

Would you like that list updated?

In this post, we are going to use TouchPoint to update your old leads with their latest Company, Job Title, LinkedIn Id, Business Email Address and Phone number => So that you can reach out to them in their new company and win some new business.

How to setup TouchPoint to update out-of-date Leads

Prep Step: Get your list of Leads into a spreadsheet / excel / Google Sheet.

  1. Open the TouchPoint Dashboard browser tab
  2. Click the “Scheduler” tab in the page
  3. Click the “Untitled Campaign 1” on the left
  4. Click “Add List” drop down button in the center of the page
  5. Click “Manual Entry” in the drop down menu. An empty Import Grid window will appear, ready for your input.
  6. Copy from your spreadsheet and paste your contact list.
    • While pasting your list, make sure the columns match (or try the Smart Paste button)
    • Your list should have any of the following combinations of fields, at minimum:
      • name, company
      • LinkedIn id
      • email address
      • Job title is another optional field that we recommend, especially if you want to find title changes of people
      • Of course, the more fields you have, the better
  7. In the Import Grid window, enter a name for the List and click the “Add” button
  8. Your List will be added to the Campaign. You might be asked if you want to change Global Settings. Choose “Later” for now.
  9. Switch ON the list – use the first button on the List.
  10. Now TouchPoint will automatically check the list for job changes. When it finds Job Changes it will notify you on the Job Changes tab in the Dashboard.
  11. TouchPoint will be able to process between 100-400 leads a day, depending on the amount of information you have input.
  12. To get the new Business Email addresses and Phone numbers, choose the records in the Job Changes tab and click the “GRID” button
  13. The Find-Email window will popup. Check mark all the records and click the “Find Selected” button in the “Find Email” menu. TouchPoint will start its automated Internet research to find the email and phone#.
  14. When the list is done, click the “Copy to Excel” button to export the list
